This week on Banter we sit down with Slate Magazines’ Matthew Yglesias who’s fresh off his first panel here at AEI. We discuss the event which revolved around competition and consumer laws and how they hurt and help different industries. Specifically, we discuss Uber Cab, a mobile based ride service has grown despite a huge backlash from Taxi Cab unions and companies. Matt also gives us a little insight into how he developed his beliefs and how he ended up at Slate. Henrik Temp from the AEI Ideas blog also sits down to discuss a few recent posts with us. Enjoy!
