In the latest episode of Banter, Stu and Andrew sit down with AEI resident scholar Michael Auslin to discuss Japan’s efforts to recover one year after the devastating Tsunami.  Fresh from an event here at AEI with the Japanese ambassador, Michael discusses Japan’s recovery efforts since the disaster, how the Japanese military really stepped up to the plate, how the US and Japanese militaries cooperated to an unprecedented degree during the crisis, and the fallout (both literal and otherwise) from the Fukushima nuclear plant. Michael is able to provide a wealth of knowledge, history, and insight about the recovery efforts from every angle. Enjoy!
