Banter #35: AEI’s Ken Green on the Chevy Volt

Dec6th
2011
2 Comments Written by Stu

In the latest episode of Banter, AEI Resident Scholar Ken Green sits down with Stu and Andrew to discuss the failure of electric vehicles, particularly the Chevy Volt. Its tendency to explode isn’t the only problem after all. We discuss the reasons it’s failed, why electric cars may never be a functional alternative to gas engines, and the current administration’s problematic energy policies. Ken also tells us why he thinks the Keystone XL Pipeline will eventually happen and why the new Kindle Fire tablet is his new favorite toy.
